All mom's are special, some are extra special. By this I mean that they care for a special child. There are many different disabilities a child can have. Some you might not even notice the child is "special" and to others it's clearly apparent. Myself, I have a daughter who will be 18 in July. She has Cerebral Palsy. She is totally dependant on me for care. She cannot walk or even crawl. She needs to be fed unless it's finger food. She wears a diaper. She can talk, a lot in fact. Mentally she sometimes seems as a 5 year old. She loves to sing and probably knows 50 or so songs by heart. Caring for her can be tiring. Sometimes it's good just to vent about it. I pray for strength all the time. I know God gave her to me because he felt I can handle it. He has shown me that it's ok to be tired and feel like you don't know how much longer you can do it. It doesn't mean that you love the child any less, it doesn't mean that you actually want to give up on the child. It doesn't mean that your faith is slipping, we are only human. Being a woman you need to get things off your chest, this is what we do, so cry all you want and don't feel guilty about it. And be sure to Pray and Pray and Pray!
