My opinion of menopause is that it SUCKS! I believe it's something else we owe Eve gratitude for (that was being sarcastic). I am what they consider; peri-menopausal. About two years ago I started having irregular periods, outrageous moodiness, terrible hot flashes and a few other symptoms. Hubby kept insisting I go to the doctors and finally I did. She did a bunch of tests and sure enough my ovaries are shrinking and are hard to even find but still are big enough for me to still be considered of child bearing age. She put me on low dose birth control which is kind of funny because hubby is sterile and my tubes are tied. She hoped that would be enough to help me out for now. She also told me about some herbs that might help. I felt better for a while but now things seem to be escalating again. Lets share our experiences and ideas and empower one another! Help sites:
