As I said before , I realize that there are several Women's Internet Groups. They all have something to offer. However I have only found of few of these groups who also offer support for various things and are Christian based. Myself, I have experienced Domestic Violence, had a husband who was a substance abuser, had low self esteem, been overweight most of my adult life, was a single mom for several years, have a special needs child, and lost my father a little over a year ago. All of which have through faith empowered me in life even when my faith faltered some. I feel that by sharing with each other our life experiences that we can learn from one another, help others in situations we were once in, and give general support to one another and share stories good and bad. There are also positive experiences in life which can empower you and I encourage that all members share their experiences, good and bad. I have done away with committees. If at some point I feel we need to add some then it's a possibility. I have stopped joining women's groups because I don't have the time to belong to a bunch of committees where I am required to do something on a regular basis in order to remain a member. I would however appreciate help from all members who are willing to help out in some way. My dream is for this group to become somewhat unique in its offering of an Internet Woman's group.
